Information we use
When you contact us: your name, email address, company, project outline and any references or other information you choose to share. A production enquiry can start with just an email address and an optional message.
Our forms send your message to the studio. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse, and Cloudflare Email Service delivers the notification to our email service. These services process information needed to verify and deliver the message.
When you browse or play a film: our hosting and video services receive technical information needed to deliver content, such as your IP address, browser information and requested page or video. Local fonts and poster images are served with the website.
When you introduce yourself for work: we may review the introduction, portfolio and professional information you share. See our talent privacy notice for more detail.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, identity documents or confidential information about other people in an initial enquiry.
Why we use it
- Discussing and delivering a project. We use enquiry information to respond, scope work and manage our relationship. For an individual requesting a contract, the basis is taking steps at their request before a contract or performing it. For people contacting us on behalf of a business, our legitimate interest is maintaining professional relationships and providing our services.
- Running and protecting the website. Our legitimate interests are delivering the pages and videos you request, preventing misuse and maintaining a reliable service.
- Optional measurement and advertising. These are not enabled on this version of the site. If introduced, we will explain the providers and purposes and request the relevant consent before optional tracking starts.
- Meeting legal responsibilities. We may retain records where necessary for accounting, regulatory or other legal obligations.
You are not legally required to make an enquiry. We need a way to contact you to reply. Sending a message does not subscribe you to a newsletter, and we do not use this website to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Services and sharing
Access to enquiries is limited to people handling the relevant conversation, production or administration. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary for advice, a legal requirement or a legal claim.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides its network delivery and security.
- Mux delivers our films, including the silent showreel that can play automatically on the home page. Video delivery makes network requests to Mux. The player does not include the Mux viewing analytics SDK.
- Zoho Mail provides our inbound company email service.
- Cloudflare Turnstile and Email Service provide form verification and message delivery.
Our providers may process information outside the UK. The relevant countries and transfer arrangements depend on the service. Where international-transfer safeguards are required, they must be covered by the applicable provider arrangements. You can contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to your information.
Links to partners, portfolios and social platforms lead to other websites with their own privacy notices.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for the active conversation and any resulting project or relevant opportunity. In deciding when to delete it, we consider whether the discussion is still active, whether a contract or payment record is involved, and whether a legal obligation or claim requires continued retention.
We review information and remove it when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Technical records are subject to the hosting and delivery providers’ applicable retention arrangements. Browser preference and preview-access lifetimes are listed in our cookie notice.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction, and receive certain information in a portable format.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also object at any time to the use of your information for direct marketing.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before that point. Open cookie settings for browser preferences, or contact us at [email protected] for other requests.
We may need proportionate information to verify your request. Some rights have legal limits, which we will explain if they apply.
You can raise a concern with us or complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You may also have the right to complain to the authority where you live or work.
